VH1and Def Jam Records should be a shame of themselves for trying to honor hip-hop and the 25 year Anniversary of Def Jam without including the first female signed to Def Jam. In this one-on-one interview with the first lady signed to Def Ram Records, Nikki D lets off steam about the mishap and has some choice words for Nicki Minaj.

I’m not saying Def Jam would not have made a significant milestone in history without her but, where is the respect? Nikki D was well respected as a rapper and years later was working at Def Jam office. I wonder if she is still sitting in that office cubicle? Nikki holler at us!

XXLMag.com: So what do you think about some of the new female MCs that are out now?

Nikki D: There aren’t any out! Who’s out? You mean, Nicki Minaj? That’s not a rapper. That’s a girl with her ass on the screen. Nice hairdo and she’s saying some things but she’s not a rapper. She’s not an MC. She’s an artist. She’s an entertainer. There’s a difference. She can go out there and open her mouth and say whatever but people ain’t listening to her. They looking at her. And rapping is about the skill. It ain’t about your fat ass. It ain’t about your set of titties. It ain’t about that long-ass weave.

XXLMag.com: Damn, Nikki, want to let off any more steam?

Nikki D: I would like to say to everybody involved at the VH1, whoever was involved in Hip Hop Honors, all of the executives, everybody who had anything to do with that shit, you’re wrong for sitting there and watching that shit happen like that. It ain’t just about me but it’s about me and all the other people who were not included in that bill. There are a lot of other people besides Nikki D that wasn’t there but to just leave out the first female rapper signed? Yeah, that was some shitty shit.

Lil Wayne took a minute out of his extensive touring schedule to sit down with Billboard Magazine to discuss touring, Drake’s solo album and how his new album will be 80% of him playing the guitar. I think the overall Lil Wayne fan is not ready to hear an entire album infuse with Rock Music and Hip-Hop. No Ceilings already set the standard of what fans want to hear and going to far left can leave fans puzzled. Just my opinion. But, the good news is that Carter IV is still on the way and is due early next year.

Billboard: How has touring helped shape your success thus far?

Lil Wayne: It’s played a big part in my career. I’ve been on the road since I was about 14. Since then there’s never been one city that I’ve been stable in for six months. Honestly, touring is just another part of my day. The stage comes at 9 p.m. OK, I eat at 12. (laughs) It’s natural for me, not a preparation. And I thank God for that every day.

Whether it’s a club or arena, I perform my ass off. I go out there and give it my all every single night. I would die onstage. Some people like to just go out there and have their song played with five people onstage, and you don’t even know who four of them are. You’ve got to go out there and perform. Once that works, people will come. And as long as people keep screaming when I step out there, I’ll keep giving them me.

Billboard: Do you have a sense of withdrawal when you’re not on the road?

Lil Wayne: As soon as you start to develop that sense of withdrawal, you get a call from your manager (in Wayne’s case, Cortez Bryant) telling you that you’ve got 60 nights coming up somewhere so you’ll be all right. (laughs) Honestly, the way my schedule is, my days — even when I’m not on tour — are still full. I’m in the studio every single night. There’s really never a moment for me to actually sit and breathe and even notice if I’m having withdrawal symptoms because I have to keep it moving. I just turned 27 on September 27, so I’m not in a rush to take any downtime.

Jay-Z gives his response to Beanie’s rant about friendship and disloyalty but, never addresses the core issues which were not about money or album sells. I think I held my tongue long enough about this whole Rocafella situation. I was the realest thing that happened to the Roc. The Roc was just a rock. I brought the fellas to Rocafella Records, Hot 97, State Property. Ya’ll remember. I brought the street cred to that. That thing X’d in stone. I fought all those battles. ME that’s who! Jadakiss, Nas, Dipset…Anybody you would have told me to go after. Matter of fact, you ain’t have to tell me. I frontlined for that Roc. For that diamond that people were throwing up. I’d have taken a bullet for Roc that day, n*gga. This isn’t about a dollar, this isn’t about me hating on you or anything because I’ve never asked you for a dollar.  When I came home from jail, doing my year and a day, when you ain’t come one day to come see me. NOT ONE PICTURE or letter. I went to the office and asked you, “let me off of Rocafella because somebody (no name no blame)  wanted me and wanted to give me some real money”. You bounced that tennis ball around in your office for an hour and went back and forth with me and told me you ain’t want to let me go.  You even asked me if I wanted some money and I told you “I don’t want your money” but you were in a position to let me get my own money and you couldn’t do that. But Sigel so real..and you’ll never go to jail again because you knew I was the shooter. If my life was a movie, Sigel would be the Sequel. It’s etched in stone my gangsta has never been on trial. But like Tupac said “I ain’t mad at you”. I understand, everybodycan’t go and you already on…

Don’t get it f*cked up, this ain’t the greenlight for everyone to make a diss Jay-Z record. I still got love for the n*gga.  This is me taking my brother in the yard for 5 minutes. Cause I got a knot in my chest that needs to get unloosened. When you got love for a Muthaf*cka it don’t go away that easy.  Many people gonna walk in and out your life but only real friends leave footprints on your heart dog. But I think yours is fading in the sand. If me and you never talk again dog and I got to holla at you via mc on this mic, “What up”. I think this performance shows that hip-hop still rules when it comes to New York, although airplay on the radio paints a different picture. Nevertheless, its an exciting time for New York Yankees fans who are avid listeners of hip-hop. I’m sure Empire State of Mind will serve as a soundtrack for the Yankees’ postseason clubhouse celebrations. Now, where is my New York Yankee fitted at?
