Racist Alert: Who called Michelle Obama “Blackie O”
Joan Rivers! The 77 Year Old comedian appeared on the Howard Stern Show when she uttered the racist joke against first lady, Michelle Obama.
She said, “We used to have Jackie O now we have Blackie O!”
Rivers then attempted to make up for the seemingly questionable comment saying:
“I thought it was a funny complimentary joke when she first came (to the White House),” the 77-year-old comedienne told Stern. “I think it’s an adorable joke… I thought it was a compliment!”
However, everyone was not as impressed. Robyn Quivers laughed a little, then proceeded to question the comedienne about her real motive.
“Where’s the compliment in that? I’m looking and looking, I’m trying to find it,” Quivers asked Joan.
“They said you can’t say that,” Joan admitted.

Bad joke gone wrong but there's no evidence IMO that she's a racist. lol, we're all racists if you think about the stuff we say without being sensitive to who is listening.
But that wasn't conversation… it was a bad joke. Or at least a joke with the wrong audience.
Its an honor to be compared to Jackie O. Most first ladies aren't considered cool at all… But it sounds like she was trying to honor the first lady through a joke that nobody would get except historians.
